Anthony came to 360 Healthcare Hub as exactly the kind of patient I opened the clinic to help.
Just over a year ago, he could barely manage a step-up onto a low box and was struggling in day to day life.
He had longstanding injuries, alongside the effects of a previous spiral fracture of his femur which had left him with a significant leg-length discrepancy. For a long time, this hadn’t been properly addressed with orthotics, and over the years his strength, mobility and confidence had gradually declined.
We knew there was no quick fix.
Initially, we spent more time in the clinic working on soft tissue, mobility and getting him moving more comfortably.
From there, we gradually introduced more work in the gym — slowly building tissue capacity, tolerance and confidence with movements he had previously struggled with.
Once those foundations were in place, Anthony started sessions with resident boxing coach Lisa Grego working on his overall strength and fitness and introducing boxing into his training. This made a massive difference.
He’s now stronger, fitter, moving better and, most importantly, capable of doing things that would have seemed a long way off when we started.
Now we move onto the next stage.
Building on those foundations, progressing his strength and continuing to show what can be achieved when you give someone the right support, enough time and a plan that progresses at their pace.
This is exactly why I opened 360 Healthcare Hub.
Not just to treat an injury - but to help people rebuild their capacity, confidence and quality of life.
